• Composition : Gag bit with 70 mm large rings and Blue Steel 16 mm cannons. The Blue Steel alloy used in this Jump’In range is made of 54% carbon and 46% manganese. Blue steel bit oxidizes with air and humidity creating a thin layer of rust which has a sweet taste. It will stimulate the production of saliva and naturally allow the horse to relax. The horse will be more comfortable and will take the bit more. The bit color will turn into a greyish brown due to this oxidation process. 
• Effect : This bit has an action on the horse balance. It makes the horse rebalance and transfer its weight on the hindquarters. The larger the rings are, the stronger the gag action is. The self-blocking cannons articulate to a certain extent to keep some liberty while being sure of having a more important control if needed.
• Using advice : This bit can be used with reins fixedly attached on the bottom rings, with bit loops or with two pairs of reins. A blocked bit can be adapted to riders looking for more control but still wanting ergonomic and comfortable cannons for their horse. The combination of the full cheek action and the gag one is perfect for a horses that tend to lose balance and to put their weight on their shoulders. The cannons are thinner than standard ones so they will bring more finesse in the rider’s demands.
